THE COMPANY

CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVE(S)

Created in 1957 at the initiative of the Union of Transport Federations, AFT has historically been the organization responsible for developing professional training in the transport and logistics sectors. With an administrative headquarters located in Paris, AFT also benefits from a decentralized structure, based on its Regional delegations, present in all 13 continental regions. Each committee is led by a president.

AFT brings together the regional presidents each year for an organized trip and has chosen Istanbul for its upcoming and requested ADVANTIS’ services.

AFT aims to enjoy a 2.5 day program featuring professional visits and meetings in the transport and logistics sector, as well as leisure and tourist activities.

CONTENT OF SUPPORT

ADVANTIS offered a turnkey organization and personalized support:

• Day 1: Arrival of participants and pick-up from the airport to take them to the hotel, economic presentation of Türkiye, and organization of a  welcome cocktail dinner
• Day 2: Full day of professional collective visits, lunch with key actors in transport and logistic sector, dinner on a boat on the Bosphorus
• Day 3: Day of leisure and tourist visits, Ottoman evening – musical oriental dinner
• Day 4: Free cultural or shopping day and participant departures

RESULT(S)

The event was successfully executed, offering participants a balanced experience of professional development and cultural immersion in Istanbul. ADVANTIS delivered an efficient, personalized service that met AFT’s expectations and objectives.
