The Turkish aerospace sector is experiencing significant growth, driven by strategic investments and a determination to strengthen the country's technological independence while boosting its international competitiveness.

In civil aviation, Türkiye has established itself as a major aviation hub, thanks to Turkish Airlines and modern infrastructure such as Istanbul Airport. This development supports the growth of tourism and trade, positioning civil aviation as a cornerstone of Türkiye's economy. Despite challenges faced in 2023, including earthquakes and the Hamas-Israel conflict, the civil aviation sector achieved remarkable results.

In military aviation, companies such as Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), TEI, ASELSAN, ASPILSAN, HAVELSAN, BAYKAR, ALP AVIATION, and KALE are at the forefront of innovative projects, developing drones, helicopters, and high-tech defense systems. The government strongly supports this highly strategic dynamic to enhance technological independence in air defense.

Lastly, the space sector is also undergoing significant development. The Turkish Space Agency, established in 2018, is pursuing ambitious goals, including an unmanned lunar mission planned for 2028. Simultaneously, Türkiye is strengthening its satellite capabilities through projects like the GÖKTÜRK observation satellites and the TÜRKSAT communication satellites.
